The City Centre for Project Creativity (CCPC) was launched by Novosibirsk city administration in 2008. CCPC is a municipal autonomous organization supervised by the Department of industry, economics and business. One of the main functions of our Centre is to fill up staff vacancies in the science-intensive cycle including ‘research – development – production’ with creative youth, i.e. to form the elite of creative youth who will be capable of innovative working for the purposes of city development.

Main methodological basis of CCPC is ‘Noogen’ technology which was invented in Krasnoyarsk State University, 1988. The technology was initially aimed to form versatile thinking, new intellectual mentality of children, to create the basis for their further education and the whole life. These young people now work in business, science, administration and politics. During the years of practicing the methodic in Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk, the valuable experience of young thinkers’ and active persons’ formation was accumulated and considered within the flexible Noogen supplementary education technology.

One of the other goals of our Centre is to enhance existing communications between the local municipal formations of the city along with non-government territorial organizations who are the crucial connective link between different social groups and the officials. This kind of work includes team-solving of specific creative tasks when the specialists who are currently involved into the city infrastructure can advance their understanding of current megapolis’ problems and develop new approach to achieve their daily professional goals. CCPC currently is the only place in Novosibirsk where the aims listed can be reached in the situation of coordinated communication.
